Another sketch from the same time period.

Hey, I can drw too.

Had to include som concept sketches of that little Disney character, it really helps to know what you are modeling.

We move on to one of my first humanoid characters; a play on Iron Man I guess. Still it actually looks cool knowing what actual geometry is involved in the model, yeah a lot of primatives..

This 3D Max monstrosity was created for the weekly news article in the Sony TRC. Like I said, good and bad alike.

Another Still from the training video, this one an introductory animation for Windows 98. man, looking at it now I really sucked :)

My first profesional project.

Well all I have from my first profesional project is this still from a training animation on the Rockwell phone system. nothing really special other than I was very proud of it for the time I had to learn Max.

Still Learning Max.

Moving on from simple modeling and texturing tools, I played around with lights, atmosphere, and more modeling tools. I still like this image a lot and would love to find time to redo it, just to see how much better I could make it.

Time 2 Upgrade.

Good, bad, dumb, I'm posting it all. Anyways i left the worldof Dos and moved to the world of windows. Skipping 3.1 I refused to ever take part in it, I did the same for the internet for a long time. The world of the BBS was so comfy back then. Anyway, I was working at Sony at the Time and was given a project for a training video to do with max V2. and had no idea how to use Max at the time, so I sat forth to quickly get the hang of the application and first produced this Space flower.

The Good Old Days.

How about another one done in 3D Studio, V4. This one was done because a girlfriend at the time loved this little Disney character (However I can't for the life of me remember the name of him). Anyway, it is the last of what I have left from the 3D Studio days.

Uploads are finally working, so here we go.

Ahh, my earliest recorded work still in existance. This little gem was created back in the golden days using 3D Studio. nope not Max, just plain old 3D Studio, you know running on DOS. Bleachh, I do not miss DOS at all, and is why you will never realy hear me complain about how Windows runs.

Anyways, this one takes me back to when I first learned what a polygon and a vertex is and how they work to make pretty pictures.

I'm Back

OK – No apologies for not updating my blog this time. I took a well needed vacation away from everything and just sat around being as useless as a cock flavored lollypop. It was nice to just forget about everything for a week or so. But after installing Maya the PLE stopped working and even though I went through and redid the Mech project and currently have it rendering there is no way it is going to finish by tomorrow. Oh well, it is what I learned that is really important, and there is no way that I am going to ask for an extension after like 4 months. :)

But this does mean that I get to move on to better and more exciting things. The first project is going to be to clean up my system and I thought I would give everyone interested a little history on myself. So over the next week or so I will be posting all of my old work, good or bad. I know it is interesting to see how far I have come, and thought others might find it interesting as well.
