Time for Tweak

OK, finished the rough outline for Tweak and I am gaining my abilities back slowly but surely. Had to borrow a little inspiration from Skottie Young, but it helped a lot on this one. Even though I still favor Trip's style, I don't want this to be a rip off of it. So I am looking for that same style and using it through the skeleton stages and then taking it all on my own from there.

In any case this class has done something that I just didn't think was possible, and rekindled my love for creating 2D art. But I have to give credit to Trip Park as well. If it weren't for his books then I probably wouldn't have been so inspired to even give 2D a shot again.

Jake Takes Shape

As you can see from the Last post I finally picked up a pencil (Well OK, so it was a Pen for my Tablet PC) and whipped out this concept for Jake. And By Whipped I mean hours and hours of agonizing over many mistakes until I finally came up with something that I like.

I will say that for not having drawn in so long that I guess I am happy with it. Got a lot more to do though, so time to break open the Trip Park, Skottie Young, Gregory Titus, and Francisco Herrera inspiration and get to designing the next character.
