Ordered two new books

Too dang tired to do much tonight although my lessons of learning the notes on the guitar are coming along. Seems that reading music from Middle school has been buried in the recesses of my mind and seems to be coming back to me as it is not all that painful. Sure I feel like a 1st grader playing songs like On Top of old Smokey, but hey, you gotta start somewhere.

In any case it occurred to me that I really don't have a good handle on where I want to go. I mean yes, I know I want to get better, but I have no real heroes right now. So I asked myself who were my favorites guitarists and after a lot of thought I cam up with a pretty short list.

Now sure there are lots of others, but these are my all time favorites. So I started out with Metallica as I already know more of there stuff than any other band and ordered the Art of James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett. Life stories, pictures, practice routines, and other great stuff. Anyway, can't wait for them to arrive.
