Swimming

My youngest daughter Hailee has been having a little trouble keeping up with the workouts before Karate. Most of it is that she is 9 (10 Next month) and she is in with the 10 to 15 year olds, but she is too big and mature for the 6 to 9 year olds. So she ends up being either too big or too young. But i don't want her to learn that it is OK to give up when things get tough, so I started waking up early this morning and doing a little working out with her. Now every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday we will do push ups, Sit ups and then swim for half an hour. That seemed to get her excited about the whole thing, so hopefully this will help her. I know it will help me.

Swimming is very weird, I was getting more out of breath than I ever get running or even during Karate. At the end I thought I was going to die trying to catch my breath, but my body was not all worn out as usual. I think it will be the greatest way I can imagine to start my day with some aerobics.
